The absolute best pop culture news possible descended from the heavens like manna yesterday! Stephanie Beatriz and her Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Melissa Fumero are guest starring on season three of One Day at a Time, and Beatriz will play “Penelope’s cousin Pilar, whom Elena is convinced is gay.”
Evan Rachel Wood sat down with comibook.com — on her front porch in a rocking chair — to talk about Westworld season three. My favorite part is when she talks about Tessa Thompson and Delores because it is absolutely nonsensical.
For fans who were a little bit confused by the multiple timelines, multiples Doloreses, or any other aspect of Westworld Season Two’s conclusion, Wood has an explanation which should break it all down for them. “Here’s a tip: if you’re like, ‘Well when is she Tessa and when is she not?'” Wood started. “Any time Tessa is in the timeline with Skarsgard, she’s technically [Dolores]. So if you go back and watch it, that’s how you know the difference. And any time she’s with Bernard, that’s real Hale.”
Here’s why Tessa Thompson’s character is named Detroit in her new movie, Sorry to Bother You.
The trailer for the new season of Orange Is the New Black is here, and here are some press photos.
Janet Mock has received nothing but rightful praise after making her directorial debut on Sunday night’s gorgeous episode of Pose.
I love you Janet . You are what we have been waiting for . Genius . @janetmock https://t.co/pBQLuv3pLb

Every day is “Gay Pride Day” for Jodie Foster.
Capitalism is a wild ride, y’all. Yesterday MGM Wine announced they were going to make three Handmaid’s Tale-inspired wines – called, no joke, Offred, Offglen and Serena Joy. (Offred and Offglen were gonna be red wines and Serena Joy was gonna be a white wine.) (COME ON.) Anyway, Twitter was like “R U SERIOUS?” and so MGM scrapped that plan.
Here’s your first look at Killjoys season four.
GLOW‘s season two ratings aren’t huge, but they’re still making streaming history.
You gotta read this beautiful interview with Rebecca Sugar about last week’s groundbreaking episodes. (I also didn’t know Sugar is non-binary until this interview!)
“I wanted to really create an image of a queer couple that makes sense together,” Sugar says. “Usually the couple is a man and a woman. But you don’t show that love can exist between two men or two women. I wanted to create equal-opportunity love stories for children,”
This seems very relevant to your interests: The AV Club wants you to know how to download everything from your favorite streaming services.
“Nielsen ratings for Netflix shows only cover U.S. viewers on internet-connected televisions. Users streaming shows via mobile devises or computers are not counted among the data, so technically “GLOW’s” ratings could be even higher.”
Nielsen is so ridiculous.
so glad that wine was CANCELLED. wtf
I know it’s completely off-topic but did you change the font on the site or am I hallucinating?
Phew, I’m not alone….
I was wondering!
it is definitely different! WE ARE NOW IN THE ERA OF SANS-SERIF
Stephanie Beatriz…ODAAT….
I have died…I AM DEAD…..please drape my coffin in the flag and make my funeral super gay
I think MGM saw that Netflix was marketing marijuana products named after their shows and characters in California and decided why not turn a show like Handmaid’s Tale into a wine.
I saw this weeks Pose and it was really good, but as few others have said can we at least get one bi/wlw trans woman character on there?
Beatriz and Fumero on ODAAT!!!!! All of my favorites in the world coming together.
Ok BUT in that same news story you linked (https://tvline.com/2018/07/10/rosario-dawson-cast-briarpatch-usa-network-drama-pilot/), it talks about Rosario Dawson’s new pilot. I hate to even ask this but…….what does this mean for Jetra?
They’re about to start filming the last season of Jane, so I’m betting (HOPING!) that filming a pilot won’t interfere much.
FAN THEORY: tessa thompson only came out bc she was being controlled by evan rachel wood
bye
Yay! The queers are taking over TV, One Gay At A Time.
