What do you do when a partner has a very different idea of acceptable social distancing?:
“Sarah English Wallace, an L.A.-based professional family mediator and the owner of her own practice, Modern Mediation, tells me that although she hasn’t mediated this particular brand of conflict firsthand, it’s reminiscent of the age-old clash between introverts and extroverts. ‘We both go out, one of us resents it,’ she says. ‘We both stay home, the other one resents it. We haven’t come up with one solution where it’s going to work every single time.’ As such, she thinks that the question — which in this case has the added moral caveat — oftentimes becomes much more about, ‘How much do you care about me and how much do you love me?’ than it is about the actual guidelines. ‘It’s a much more vulnerable conversation to have,’ she says. ‘When I hear that you want to go out and spend time in settings that could put me at risk, it makes me wonder how much I’m cared for, how much my needs and my interests are being seen as important as your own. Am I less important? Am I equally important? Are you more important? And is that always going to be the case?'”

Revenge porn is spiking in quarantine. Here’s what to do if it happens to you.
Courts are closed but you can still use this time to get divorced. Scream into a pillow if you need it.
Please don’t break quarantine for sex.
Katy Pryer has run @draws_nudes on Instagram since 2017, and has been swamped since lockdown began. She talked to Dazed about how quarantine is changing our relationships with our bodies, trends in nudes, and drawing Caroline Calloway:
“Quarantine has changed the way people think and view their bodies, I guess from spending so much time inside and alone. It feels like people are closer aligned with why I started this project. I’m thrilled. […]
It sounds strange to say that you’ve bonded with naked strangers over the internet, but people are sharing such an intimate part of themselves with you, often along with a story about them and their bodies so it’s hardly surprising. This drawing was one of those cases, we discovered we had a fair bit in common, and having this exchange upfront meant I somehow poured more into the drawing. It’s a beautiful piece and the story behind it makes it all the more special.
I also love the early drawings of myself when this project was in its infancy. They felt like a personal secret and were really key to falling back in love with my body and seeing myself in a new light.”
@draws_nudes is quite beautiful
