In a six panel comic, Dickens contemplates all of the major tragedies of 2020. First they remember on when we all thought the pandemic could be over "in a month, we just have to stay 6 feet apart and wear a mask." Then they remember the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Finally, they are reflecting on their recent experience with the wildfires in California as an emergency responder responsible to encourage people to evacuate. In the final two panels, Dickens' child asks if they can play outside again, to which they respond that it is "105 degrees and raining ash in California." In the second panel, Dickens and their partner stand outside and watch the orange skies of Northern California. Their partner says "The movies always made the apocalypse seem... obvious. This is just... Wednesday." ..
