Also.Also.Also: Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird Will Be the Sexiest Hosts in ESPY History

I literally kept forgetting it was Tuesday! Because somehow Memorial Day extended my brain’s concept of a weekend, so it’s Monday? Even though it’s not, it is IN FACT Tuesday! And the days don’t even count anymore. What days in Covid? Days are fake. That’s what.

Ok that was a fun nurse rhyme, thanks for joining along.

For all my sports gays out there, Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird to Host Remote ESPYs With Changed Focus.

I made it soooo long before I had to learn who YouTube star JoJo Siwa really was (I used to just call her “that kid with very large bow in her hair”) but sadly that time is now over. However this piece from Rachel Charlene Lewis from Bitch is well worth the loss of my innocence: JoJo Siwa Doesn’t Owe Us Her Sexuality

Saw This, Thought of You

I remind my friends about this every year, and since you are all my friends now, here is a reminder for you too: The Overlooked Black History of Memorial Day. Formerly enslaved people invented the holiday because no major newspaper printed the names of the thousands of black people who died during the Civil War.

  1. As an Atlantan who remembers the voting heist of 2016 Georgia election, I want Stacy Abrams as VP (& possibly future 2024 President!) so bad it’s not even funny. It’ll be poetic justice & karmic retribution wrapped up in a beautiful intersectionally feminist bow ❤️
