I used to respond to the “we can’t teach inclusive sex ed because it will turn kids gay! OMG!” argument with “well hetero sex ed sure didn’t turn me straight”, but lately I’ve amended my response to “a few collateral gay kids seems worth the risk. At least they’d be better informed than I ever was.”
