I have recently moved to London after having spent most of my life in various cities scattered across the globe. Having been bit by the travel bug at an early age, nothing thrills me more than the thought of traipsing about in a foreign city armed with a dog-eared guide book in one hand, a huge backpack towering over me and one hand gesturing frantically at the locals. Admittedly, that thought is also a little terrifying at times. I think that I am a shy person but friends have told me multiple times that I am deluding myself. Alcohol is my social lubricant of choice, but only in moderate doses.
Given the current Twitter craze and society’s current need to have as much information packed into one tiny space, here’s me in 140 characters or less:
